OUR MOST BASIC CLASS AND FOUNDATION FOR ALL OTHERS Computing for Beginners (4 sessions) Fee $20 (R) $25 (N) For students who are new to computing. Students will: - learn how a personal computer operates. - learn to "boot up" and to close any "IBM Type" computer. - learn the parts of the computer screen - practice basic skills through class exercises. - open (start) programs, use them, then close them. - practice mouse skills by playing a simple game. - learn to use Paint, a drawing program. - use WordPad, a surprisingly able writing program - write and edit reports, letters etc. Students need NOT be familiar with a mouse or keyboard before attending this short (four session) course. |
