Uses: Adobe PhotoShop Elements v.7

For full benefit from this course, you may wish to
take Digital Photography 1 & 2 first.
Adobe PhotoShop is generally regarded as the most advanced image
processing software available. Its capabilities satisfy the needs of
professional users. Realizing that its price might discourage
non-professional users, Adobe has generated a less complicated (and less
expensive) version for wider use. Adobe PhotoShop Elements is now in its
seventh version, and a trial version can be downloaded free. The Free
version may be used for long enough to complete this course.
The course title may be somewhat misleading. ANY photo, including your
ancient slides, may be edited by use of this software. The image
processing is done digitally. You can start with an old snapshot, convert it
to digital form, process it, then print it again as an improved snapshot.

Please note this course has been upgraded to Photoshop Elements V7.0,
You are advised to either purchase the software or Download the Free Trial
version (now V8.0) from www.adobe.com proir to attending this class.
For
copyright reasons we are unable to provide students with the software.
